RA Application Process 
for the 2012-13 Academic Year

1.  Attend an information session.

All students who are interested in applying, must attend one of the following information sessions:


     Harshman: Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 9PM in Harshman Community Room (On Facebook!)

Kohl: Monday, Nov. 14 at 7PM in 007 Classroom (On Facebook!)

Conklin: Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7PM in 2^nd Floor Lounge (On Facebook!)

Offenhauer: Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7PM in Offenhauer West 1104 (On Facebook!)

Centennial: Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 8PM in Meeting Room of Centennial Hall Lobby (http://on.fb.me/CentennialRA)

Founders: Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 8:30PM in 2^nd floor lobby (On Facebook!)

McDonald: Monday, Nov. 28 at 7:30PM in the 1^st Floor Lounge West (On Facebook!)

Falcon Heights: Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7PM in the Falcon Heights Lobby (On Facebook!)

Kreischer: Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 8PM in the KAB Activity Room (On Facebook!)

Olscamp: Monday, Dec. 5 at 7PM in 223 Olscamp (On Facebook!)

2.  Apply online.  Applications are due by 5pm on Friday, December 16, 2011.

3.  Attend one of the RA Carousel Interviews (new applicants only). Students will register for this process in person in January 2012.  Additional information is forthcoming, including registration dates and times.

• Applicants must attend one of the two-hour interview sessions below between the hours of 5pm - 10pm
  • Thursday, Jan. 19 in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union OR
  • Friday, Jan. 20 in Olscamp 101
    

4.  Selected candidates will be invited for final interviews below. Applicants will register in person 
for a one-hour interview. Additional information is forthcoming, including registration dates and times.

• Thursday, Jan. 26 in the Harshman Community Room (new applicants) OR
• Friday, Jan. 27 in the Harshman Community Room (new applicants)

Information on Candidate Selection:

• Candidates will receive notification of employment for the 2012-12 academic year by February 13, 2012.
• Candidates must accept or decline the employment offer by February 17, 2012.
• All hired RAs and alternates must attend the Leadership Academy program on February 25, 2012.
• All hired RAs and alternates must participate in RA Class from March 12, 2012 - May 4, 2012.
