Wellness Connection - Alcohol Education
Students are likely to be exposed to alcohol at some point during their time in college. Being aware of the effects can prevent unwanted events occurring in the future.
Presentations are available to students who are interested in alcohol education. For more information on Counseling Services, call the Counseling Center at 419.372.2081.
The E-Chug Self-Assessment
The e-CHUG (electronic Check-Up to Go) is an interactive web survey that allows students to enter information about drinking patterns and receive feedback about alcohol use.
- Takes 6-7 minutes to complete
- Self-guided
- Requires no face-to-face contact
e-CHUG asks for demographic information, information about drinking habits, family history, and the completion of the World Health Organization's AUDIT.
Viewpoints and Perspectives Classes
Violation of the University's Alcohol and/or Other Drug Policy means disciplinary actions will take place. Two different classes are required to those who have violated the policy.
- 1st violation: Viewpoints (Does NOT fulfill any court requirement)
- 2nd violation: Perspectives (If working with the court diversion program, you must take the Perspectives class)
The Viewpoints and Perspectives classes are taught by the Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor from the Counseling Center.
