Employment - Student Employee Incentive Program

The Recreation and Wellness Student Employee Incentive Program is designed to recognize student employees who go above and beyond their job description to improve the department.

Full time staff, graduate assistants, and student supervisors award “Rec Bucks” to students that can be redeemed for various prizes throughout the department including a free round of golf, climbing wall usage, or semester group exercise memberships. One of the most popular prizes redeemed with “Rec Bucks” is to have a full time staff member cover the winning student’s regular shift!

Exemplary behaviors for which bucks are awarded include the following:

Crisis Management, Leadership, Marketing, Volunteer Service, Training,
Customer Service, Meetings, Special Events, Shift Coverage
