Employment - Student Employment

The Department of Recreation and Wellness employs students to work at the Student Recreation Center (SRC - no current positions available due to the pending renovation), the Perry Field House (PFH), the BGSU Ice Arena (IA), and Forrest Creason Golf Course (GC).  Through eight primary programming areas, students are offered beginning career development opportunities and practical leadership experiences. Department-wide jobs are classified in a consistent manner based on experience and certifications required to enter the position as well as the leadership, decision-making and supervisory functions necessary to perform the role.  Read about Recreation and Wellness student employment on the Wire.

Apply On-Line to be considered for employment. Applications are welcome any time throughout the year and are reviewed as positions become available. Golf Course applications are not reviewed November 1 - March 1 but may be submitted. Due to the pending renovation of the Student Recreation Center, no SRC positions are available at this time with the exception of Fitness instructors.
