Recreation and Wellness offers memberships including use of the Student Recreation Center and limited use of the Perry Field House on a semester, academic, or yearly basis. Memberships to the Climbing Wall, Forest Creason Golf Course, Group Exercise, and Intramural Sports can be separately purchased. Parking Passes

All vehicles parked on campus are required to have an official BGSU parking permit. To acquire a permit, bring a completed Parking Permit Order Form (available at the SRC Front Desk or through Parking Services) to the BGSU Visitor Information Center, or BGSU Parking Services.  Cost to SRC members (who do not otherwise possess a BGSU parking permit) is $12.00 per semester or $20.00 for the full or academic year. Descriptions

Student (BGSU):  An undergraduate or graduate student on the BGSU campus who has paid the current semester general fee.

Continuing Student:  Any BGSU student who was enrolled as a full-time student the previous semester for academic year.

Faculty/Staff/Retiree: A current employee (full or part-time) or retiree with verifying ID and PIN number.

Alumni:  A BGSU graduate or individual who has completed 32 credit hours at BGSU (must have verification from the Registrar's Office).

Community:  Any person, 18 years of age and older, may purchase a membership for full access.

Spouse:  A husband/wife/sole same-sex domestic partner of a current BGSU student /faculty/staff/retiree/alumni.  A spouse must provide the University-affiliated spouse's name and University ID number.  If University affiliate has a Recreation and Wellness membership, spouse may purchase at reduced rate; or if University affiliate does not have a membership, the spouse may purchase one at full member rate. To qualify for same-sex benefits, the following conditions must be true;

  • Share a permanent residence (unless residing in different cities, states, or countries on a temporary basis)
  • Are the sole same-sex domestic partner, have been in a relationship for a at least six (6) months, and intend to remain in the relationship indefinitely
  • Are of the same sex and are not currently married to or legally separated from another person under either statutory or common law
  • Are responsible for each other's common welfare
  • Are at least eighteen  (18) years of age and mentally competent to consent to contract
  • Are not related by blood to a degree of closeness that would prohibit marriage in the state in which we legally reside

Dependent:  A student's/member's child that is 17 years old and under.

*Semester AM/PM Pass:  The Semester AM or Semester PM Passes are not available for use on weekends.

**Try-Teen Pass:  Must be 16 or 17 years old and parent/s must be a member.  Teenager must sign a waiver. Price is not determined by term length, it is a flat price.

Senior Pass:  Any person, 62 years of age and older, may purchase a membership for full access at the lesser rate.

One Month Pass:  Any person, 18 years of age and older, may purchase a membership for one month for full access.

Day Pass:  Any person, 18 years of age and older, may purchase a membership for one day full access.

L-T-S Special Entry Pass:  Some one who brings a child in for swimming lessons only.

10-Punch Pass: Pass is valid for general use of the Student Recreation Center and does not include Group Exercise or Climbing Wall. Pass is valid for 90 days from date of purchase and pass holder is required to sign waiver at time of purchase. Individual pass holder is required to be present when using the pass and must provide photo ID. Only one guest may accompany pass holder  (guest counts as one punch) and any additional guests are required to purchase a day pass ($7.00). Guest of pass holder is also required to sign waiver. Pass is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be laminated. Lost passes are not re-issued.
