Recreation and Wellness student employee awards are designed to recognize current Recreation and Wellness employees who are deserving of a distinguished award and to bring awareness and recognition to the department. 

The Recreation and Wellness Student Employee Committee and Student Employee Board review applications and select recipients. Student supervisors or graduate assistants nominated for their respective award do not participate in the selection process for that category. Winners in each category receive a plaque and cash award and are honored at the annual "Rec Fare Well" banquet each April.

Instructions

Complete this form to nominate a student employee. Full time staff, graduate assistants, student supervisors and peer employees are eligible to nominate in all categories. Once nominated, student employees are notified to finish the nomination process by completing a separate Student Award Application Form briefly describing why they are deserving of the award. 

Eligibility

Student employees must have worked for at least one semester in any Recreation and Wellness area and must have some proven significant contribution to BGSU Recreation and Wellness. Recipients may win multiple years, but only one award yearly.
