Outdoor Program - Climbing Wall

The climbing wall is a highlight of the Student Recreation Center! At 35 feet tall, opportunities are offered for novice, intermediate, and advanced climbers. The climbing competition in the spring gives climbers the opportunity to test their skills against others in a friendly competitive event. Read about the climbing wall on the Wire.

Semester Climbing Membership

To climb at the BGSU climbing wall, climbers need to purchase a Climbing Wall membership at the SRC Front Desk and possess knowledge of basic belay technique and climbing safety. With the semestermembership, each climber takes thewall orientation/belay class or demonstrates climbing knowledge through a belay test.
