Intramurals - Sport Officials

While the participants of the Intramural Sports program have formed their own team, the employees of the Intramural Sports Department are a member of a team of officials, scorekeepers, managers, and supervisors! These team members are critical to enhancing the experience of every Intramural participant. Each staff member provides a fun, yet structured environment while focusing on the health, safety and developmental needs of all Intramural participants. 2012-2013 IM Sports Officiating Clinic Schedule

Prior to the clinic date, complete an application and take-home test (available at the Intramural Office or on our web site).  Turning applications and tests in late, and/or failing to arrive on time to clinics, may result in not getting hired.  Applicants will not be  paid for attendance at clinics.  Once hired as an Intramural official or scorekeeper, those employees with favorable ratings/evaluations will be recruited to work IM sports throughout the academic year.

The sports noted below with an asterisk (*) will require prospective employees to attend a "practical session" (officiating and/or scoring scrimmage games) on a separate day after the general training session.

Attendance at the General Session for each semester is required. Training clinics are held in the Perry Field House Meeting Room. Please note that some sports will not require hiring of both officials and scorekeepers. Key for available positions:  "Off's" = officials, "SK's" = scorekeepers.
