Hockey

Many opportunities are offered, sponsored by the BGSU Ice Arena or various user groups, for participation in hockey skill development, recreation, or league play.

BGSU students can get involved in hockey through Senior League, Club Sports, or by enrolling in a basic or advanced hockey class the School of Human Movement, Sport and Leisure Studies.

Participating in Group Skating Lessons contributes greatly to the advancement of hockey skating skills.

Shinny Hockey

Shinny Hockey is the Ice Arena's drop-in hockey times. The length, time, and size of sessions vary throughout the season. Call the arena at 419.372.2264 or check the Main Ice Schedule for exact dates and times.

Junior Shinny - Junior High School age and below
Senior Shinny - High School JV players and above
Cost - $7.00 per player, goalies play free.

Courses Offered at BGSU
