Senior League

The BGSU Ice Arena Slo-Puck Hockey League is developed for novice through advanced players and offer an opportunity to play recreational hockey. Protective equipment (helmet and full face mask) is required. Officials adhere strictly to the USA Hockey Code of Conduct and the Zero Tolerance Policy.

Winter 2009 Session Draft Night: Thursday, November 5 9:00pm-10:15pm Cost: $100.00 per player Registration form Slo-Puck This term references the fact that slap shots are not permitted during league play. Click here for more information about the rules of the game.	Draft Night Players may register entire teams or as individuals on this night, but we encourage you to send forms in earlier if possible. There is no charge for this ice time. Both players of A and B leagues will skate together in this "shinny like" session. Skaters may arrive late or leave early. All registered or interested players are encouraged to attend and full equipment is mandatory.
Roster and Game Schedule Rosters are completed shortly after the registration deadline and available on the Slo-Puck bulletin board at the Ice Arena and at this site.	Player Substitutions Other players may be allowed to substitute with permission from the commissioners at a rate of $15.00 per game. Goalie substitutions, which will not affect the legitimacy of the game, are allowed at any time.
Age Requirements Spring league players must be 18 years of age. Summer league players must be at least 13 years of age to play in the B League and at least 17 years of age to participate in the A League.	Jerseys Jerseys will be provided to all players. Teams that wish to wear their own jersey simply need to pre-approve the color with the commissioners. All jerseys must be the same color and all players should wear the same number for the entire season.

Commissioners Cup

There is a trophy awarded (temporarily) to each of the league winners. It is displayed permanently at the Ice Arena and is engraved with the names of the winning teams after each season's play-offs are concluded. There is a victory celebration, and of course, a photo shoot for the web site.

The winning team also receives one smaller version of the trophy to keep or for display by a sponsoring business. The trophy is officially named the "Commissioner's Cup" and recognizes the contributions of the BGSU Ice Arena staff that organize, promote and administer the various leagues.
