Facilities - Student Recreation Center

Bowling Green State University's Student Recreation Center offers expansive recreational facilities for Bowling Green students, faculty/staff and community members.

Although it is student-oriented, the SRC has enhanced the quality of life for the entire University community since its opening on January 2, 1979.

Students Play Role in Student Recreation Center

BGSU students have played significant roles in planning and operating the facility, and in establishing its policies. Student employees serve as the facility managers, and full-time staff supervise the SRC's day-to-day activities and administer a variety of special programs.

Renovation Study

The BGSU Student Recreation Center is undergoing a renovation beginning in summer 2013. The latest information is available on the SRC Renovation page, which includes artistic interpretations of the upgraded spaces and a calendar outlining facility availability.

Birthday Parties

Recreation and Wellness has taken the worry and hassle out of planning a child's birthday party, leaving the fun and enjoyment to you! Birthday parties can be held at either the Student Recreation Center, Perry Field House, or Ice Arena facility. Complete information is available on the Birthday Party Flyer (PDF).
