Student Recreation Center - Renovation Project
After an extensive study was undertaken to determine the needs of BGSU students, members and other patrons of the Student Recreation Center, the BGSU Board of Trustees voted to approve the renovation project. The Collaborative Inc. has been designing preliminary sketches (see images below), and the $13.4 million renovation begins during the summer of 2013. The Construction Plan - As of May 1, 2013
**While some facility spaces are closed, every effort will be made to maintain most services (e.g. weight-lifting, cardio equipment, group exercise classes, personal training, etc.) in a different area within the SRC, or in other buildings. Building hours and patron access opportunities including membership options for the fall semester (August - December) will be announced early June, and are subject to change. All areas and time lines are subject to change as the project progresses. The construction schedule is expected to take up to 12 months.
