STUDENT RECREATION CENTER
Bowling Green State University's Student Recreation Center offers expansive recreational facilities for Bowling Green students,
faculty/staff and community members. Although it is student-oriented, the SRC has enhanced the quality of life for the entire
University community since its opening on January 2, 1979. BGSU students have played significant roles in planning and operating
the facility, and in establishing its policies. Student employees serve as the facility managers, and full-time staff supervise
the SRC's day-to-day activities and administer a variety of special programs.
Summer 2008 Hours: 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM: Monday - Friday

Within the facility, certain spaces are available for private rental. Contact Micha Seither for pool rentals and Dave Hollinger for all other areas or use the Student Recreation Center E-Reservation Form.
The four-level, 185,000 square foot complex features the following:
- 2 swimming pools
- whirlpool/spa
- sauna room located within each locker room
- pro shop / equipment room
- 14 handball/racquetball courts
- wallyball court
- 3 squash courts
- 2 weight rooms
- spinning room
- 2 cardio areas
- elevated running track
- 2 group exercise rooms
- large Sports Center which accommodates basketball, tennis, volleyball, and badminton
- climbing wall
- patio adjacent to Andrews Pool
- sand volleyball court located north of the SRC
- a 1/3 mile lit jogging trail surrounding the lower lake north of the SRC
