US Figure Skating(USF)(719.635.5200) is the governing body of amateur figure skating on ice in the United States. Completion of tests, including Moves in the
Field (MITF), Ice Dance, and Freestyle, measure skaters progress and serve to qualify them for national and international
competition, including the Olympic Games. Formed in 1921, USFS has established itself as on of the foremost skating associations
worldwide.
The Professional Skater's Association(PSA) (507.281.5122) exists to protect and advance the interest of all pupils instructed by its members. PSA members must maintain a high standard
of ethical and professional conduct and skill. There are four rating levels (Registered, Certified, Senior, & Master) which
serve to validate the teaching skills of its members.
