GROUP SKATING LESSONS COACH'S SPOTLIGHT REBECCA CLEMONS
“Becca” has grown up in Bowling Green and began her skating career at the age of 6 in the BGSU Ice Arena Group Lesson Program!
Becca says, “my mom put me in skating because I was shy and she wanted me to make friends.” She skated with the Bowling
Green Skating Club Junior Club and was coached privately by Ice Arena Assistant Director, Lona Leck. Becca remained active
in the sport throughout high school and some of her most notable figure skating accomplishments include:
- BGSC member for 14 years - 4 years of synchronized team skating - BGSU Ice Arena Group Lesson instructor since 1999 - Private skating coach since 1999 - Assistant Director/Producer, Ice Horizons 2005 - US Figure Skating Gold Moves-in-the-Field, Silver Dance
Becca loves working with groups of skaters creating production numbers for ice shows and competitions. She also holds a Bachelor
of Arts in Art Education from BGSU.
