This A League Final game would come down to the final period.  There was outstanding defense played in the first period as no teams were able to put the puck in the net.  In the second period Rawlick found a fault in the Black Widows defense as he was able to put in 2 goals to put his team up 2-0 heading into the final period.  Zacharias would put one in off a defender’s skate to cut the lead to 1.  However, Rawlick would put the game away when he added his third goal of the contest.  Brathaus is the 2008 Spring Champs with a 3-1 victory over the Black Widows.
