FITNESS AREAS IN THE STUDENT RECREATION CENTER

There are a total of four floors in the BGSU Student Recreation Center.  Each with different equipment and facilities available for patron use.

BASEMENT LEVEL
At this level there are two exercise rooms, the Studio and the Dance Room, which hold the group exercise classes. The Studio is where the AeroSpin classes meet. The Dance Room is where Pilates, Yoga, Sculpt, Kick  and other classes are held. Also located on this level are a number of courts for racquetball, wallyball, squash and handball.

SECOND LEVEL
This level accesses the locker rooms, pro shop/equipment room, and the main offices. Entrances to both pools are also located at this level.

ENTRANCE LEVEL
This is the level when entering the BGSU Student Recreation Center.  The front desk is located directly inside the main entrance doors. Also located on this floor are open courts to be used for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, etc.  The Activity Center contains a variety of free weights and strength training machines.  Also located on the entrance level is the Climbing Wall.

UPPER LEVEL
This is the main exercise area. Located on this floor is a variety of cardiovascular equipment, such as treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes, and row machines. As well, there is an assortment of free weights, exercise mats, and exercise balls. A large walk/run track is also located on the upper level.  The Fitwell Lifestyles Center is located directly next to the track.
