The BGSU Ice Arena provides a variety of ice related activities to BGSU students, faculty, staff and residents of Bowling
Green and Northwest Ohio. Ice enthusiasts may participate in programs over 100 hours per week, year round! The BGSU Ice Arena
has a program perfect for any participant, regardless of skill level.
There are many opportunities to come visit the BGSU Ice Arena to practice your skating skills during Public Skate. Public Skate is open to the public for a minimal charge. If someone in your group is new to skating, the BGSU Ice Arena offers aids (walkers) for beginning level skaters at no cost. Looking for something special? Visit the
BGSU Ice Arena during a Promotional Event for even more fun! Hosted weekly is a Sunday Teen Skate with special music, games, and prizes structured for teens and the general public.
Looking to improve your skating skills? Try one of the BGSU Ice Arena's Group Skating Lessons. These lessons are offered to skaters ages 3 through adult. The variety of classes offered strive to provide high quality, progressive instruction in basic ice skating skills that will
give participants a solid foundation upon which they can continue into the various branches of ice sports including competitive
figure skating, hockey team play, or a heightened enjoyment of recreation. Skaters desiring individualized lessons, preparation through the competitive ranks, or hockey skating skill development are
advised to consider Private Lessons.
