The mission of the Obsidian is to represent and report on the diverse multicultural community at Bowling Green State University, inclusive of all ethnic, cultural, gender and lifestyle populations on campus.
It should strive to explore issues, personalities, and events that are relevant and important to the multicultural community at Bowling Green State University, not only serving those individuals, but also acting as an informational conduit to the greater University population
The multicultural community of Bowling Green State University can be defined to include, but not limited to: African American, Hispanic, International, Asian and Pacific Island, Native American students and individuals, and people of under-represented groups related to gender identity.
