Spring Orientation Date: January 8, 2010

During your Orientation & Registration visit, you will be given as much personal attention as possible.  

·         If you were unable to complete the required online placement tests, you must arrive at Olscamp Hall, room 101 between 7:15 and 7:30 a.m. in order to take your placement test in a designated campus computer lab.

·         If you have completed the required placement tests online prior to Orientation and Registration, plan to arrive at Olscamp Hall, room 101 between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m.

While attending your one-day visit to campus for Orientation & Registration you can view displays with valuable campus information and will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from various offices on campus to have any final questions answered and complete necessary business. Before leaving campus, you will receive an academic advising appointment to meet one on one with an academic advisor from your college to select classes for Spring 2010 and receive your BG1 Card.

Reservations for Orientation & Registration are required for both New and Transfer Students and should be made online through the MyBGSU Web portal Sunday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

To complete your online reservation:

• Log on to https://my.bgsu.edu
  
• Enter your BGSU username and password.  An active MyBGSU account is required to complete the reservation process.  Click here for instructions and details related to establishing this account.
  
• Click on the “Orientation/Registration Reservation” link located in the “Student Services” box under “Academics”.
  
• Review and confirm that the college and major displayed at the top of the Orientation & Registration Reservation Form is correct.  If either college or major is incorrect, follow the prompts to make a change.
• Select your session date.
