Success Track Students with a minimum of 30 credit hours and who want to improve their GPAs; this program can help. Students meet regularly with the Retention Coordinator, who acts as a personal Success Coach. As students work through the Success Track Program and use the tools recommended, they will become more self-confident, self-directed and self-assured when tackling their academic work. The Success Coach teams up with students to help improve GPAs significantly. Participants feel more confident while making their university experience more enjoyable and rewarding. Participants experience a sense of pride in a job well done as they graduate from BGSU. Recipients of the University Tuition Scholarship for Underrepresented Students, or BG Success Scholarship, who fall short of meeting the necessary GPA requirements, are obliged to participate in this program. Each participating student has access to the Success Toolbox community, which is an interactive learning community that provides learning videos, interactive and multimedia exercises and learning assessments to answer students’ most important questions on how to get good grades by using various learning strategies, gaining practical career advice, using campus resources and promoting their personal growth and fostering motivation.
