Ways in which Students are Held Responsible for Actions
As a student of Bowling Green State University, you are held responsible for your actions and behavior on and off campus.
BGSU and the City of Bowling Green have developed strong, positive relationships and it is important that it remains that
way. When off-campus, you are a representative of the university and any illegal activities you participate in reflect poorly
on you and BGSU. Therefore, even when you are off-campus, you are required to adhere to the Code of Student Conduct and any violations on your part will likely be addressed by the Student Discipline Program in the Office of the Dean of Students.
Additionally, you can be held responsible through the Bowling Green Municipal Court and will need to follow any and all directives
issued to you.
If you need legal representation, you may contact Student Legal Services for further information.
