BG Citizens Reminded of Large Item Collection Changes
BOWLING GREEN—As announced earlier this year, the City of Bowling Green has changed its large item collection schedule. As a result, citizens are reminded that there will not be a collection in May, 2013.
The previously announced program changes expand the program from one to two collections annually. The first collection was in March. The next one will be the week of September 16, 2013.
Citizens with large items are reminded that there are several options available for disposal:
Trash and refuse may not be placed in the public right of way. If items are left in the public right-of-way, the property owner will be held accountable for the removal. Failure to remove items may result in citation and/or the City causing the material to be removed and the property owner assessed.
Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS) provides resources to all off-campus students, including students living in Bowling Green and those commuting from a great distance. OCSS is a program within the Office of the Dean of Students.
