A number of groups exist that serve as spirit organizations for the university. SICSIC, the secret
spirit organization whose members remain anonymous until graduation, was formed on October 5, 1946
by President Frank J. Prout. Membership consists of two seniors, two juniors and two sophomores.
The group dresses in work uniforms and Halloween masks and roams the campus at night putting up
messages and spirit signs. The meaning of the word SIC SIC is also a secret that only the members know.
