Recognizing Student Leadership Contributions
The Center for Leadership is pleased to announce the 3rd annual Ray Marvin Leadership Awards to recognize the leadership contributions of BGSU students. Award recipients will receive a monetary gift ($2500, $1500, or $1000) based on the assessment of their completed application, supporting materials, and finalist interview.
Award Selection Criteria: All BGSU undergraduate students are eligible to apply for this award. Candidates are asked to demonstrate, through their application, quality academic standards, participation in leadership education experiences, community service planning and participation, and project team membership and leadership. All applications are reviewed and ranked by a committee. Selected candidates then complete an in-person interview with the selection committee. Student Eligibility: To be eligible for a Ray Marvin Leadership Award, students need to meet the following minimum criteria:
- Enrolled as an undergraduate student at BGSU for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013
- Demonstrate a minimum overall GPA of 2.5.
