Karen Hagemeyer, RPh
Karen Hagemeyer joined the BGSU Pharmacy in 1999 as a staff pharmacist. She is now the BGSU Pharmacy Manager. Karen received
her B.S. of Pharmacy from the University of Toledo, and has worked as Pharmacy Manager at both Wal Mart Pharmacy and the Pharm.
Karen is a native of Bowling Green and enjoys working with BGSU students.
Janet Grant, RPh
Janet is a 1976 graduate of the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy. Janet joined the staff of the Health Service in
1988. Currently, Janet also works full time at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. Her previous experience includes the Toledo
Health and Retiree Center, Shaffer Pharmacy and Clearwater Health Services of Toledo.
Joseph Guidos
Joe joined the pharmacy staff in September 2006. He is currently a pharmacy student at The University of Findlay School of
Pharmacy. Joe has worked in various pharmacy settings with different retail chains as well as an independent pharmacy since
2001.
Elizabeth Lucas, RPh
Beth joined the staff at BGSU Student Health Service in 1997. After graduation from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy
in 1989, she worked at Toledo Hospital as a staff pharmacist. In 1989 Ms. Lucas did her Externship rotation at BGSU Student
Health Service Pharmacy.
Jim Mackiewicz, RPh
Jim started working at BGSU in 1998. His father was a pharmacist at the Medical College of Ohio, eventually becoming the director
of pharmacy before retiring in 1999. Jim graduated from the University of Toledo in 1994 with a B.S. in pharmacy. He currently
works full-time as a staff pharmacist at the Toledo Hospital.
Donna Majewski, RPh
Donna joined the BGSU Pharmacy in February 2007. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Cumberland College, earning
the college's highest academic honors. She then earned her degree in pharmacy at The Ohio State University, also attaining
scholarship recognition along the way. Donna started her career at the Revco Pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio and then joined the
Kroger Pharmacy for almost 10 years.
Teresa Merriman
Teresa is a 1996 graduate of The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy. She joined the BGSU Health Service staff in 2008.
Teresa also works at Wal Mart Pharmacy in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Michelle Pruss, RPh
Michelle is a 1993 graduate of the University of Toledo. Shelly was an intern at the Pharm Pharmacy in Maumee during college
and became the manager there for 7 years after graduation. She joined BGSU in the fall of 2001.
Sandy Stoots, RN
Pharmacy Technician
Sandy joined the staff in August 1999. After graduation from the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing in 1982, she worked at
Wood County Hospital as a staff nurse until 1991 and was on the Standards of Care Committee. In 1990 she worked as a nurse
in the pediatric practice of Dr. Eva Schaff and Dr. Michael Lemon. She also managed the lab testing for their office.
La Nikki Thomas
Pharmacy Technician
La Nikki is from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a 2011 Pharm D. candidate at the University of Findlay. She is an active volunteer
with the American Red Cross. She has been a Pharmacy Technician since 2001.
