Barbara Hoffman, MSN, CNP
Associate Director of Clinical and Educational Services

Barbara Hoffman is Associate Director for Clinical & Educational Services of the Student Health Service.  She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Capital University and her masters in nursing at Case Western Reserve University.  She is a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE).  Barb has been at the University since 1985.  She offers expertise in women's health, eating disorders and sexual assault.

Penny Mullins, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Mullins is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she received a B.A. in Women's Studies, a B.S. in Biology and her M.D. degree.  She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  She started her career as a physician with Community Health Services in Fremont, OH.  After six years working as an emergency department staff physician, she returned to Community Health Services.  In addition, she has recently worked as an occupational medicine physician.

Belynda Hummel
Secretary 2

Belynda came to us from the Office of Residence Life, and joined the Student Health Service in 2008.  She is known for her strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Prior to joining BGSU,  she spent many years gaining experience in property and retail management. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree and is looking forward to her tenure here at the SHS.
