Like most health care providers, the SHS charges for office visits and for the other medical services we provide (see complete
list below).
We accept all health insurance plans and will bill your health insurance company directly for all of the services that your
health insurance plan covers. The office visit co-pay will be applied to your student account only after the SHS has received
claim confirmation from your insurance company. The general fee that you pay with your tuition every semester provides you
full access to SHS services and covers coinsurance and deductibles for office visits.
Students have the following options to pay the charges for any ancillary services (services other than office visits) that
are not covered by their health insurance plans.
The SHS provides services to all BGSU student regardless of their health insurance status or ability to pay. If you do not
have health insurance and are unable to pay for services at the SHS, please call 419-372-2271. Never let the lack of health
insurance or an inability to pay for services prevent you from getting needed health care at the SHS. Contact the SHS with
