OraQuick Advance Rapid Test

• Oral swab (NO needle, NO blood!)  Tests for HIV antibodies in the mucous membrane of the mouth (oral mucosal transudate (OMT), NOT for antibodies in the saliva
• Over 99% accurate outside of the window period
• Can only detect a negative test result and an indeterminate ("preliminary positive") test result (i.e., this test cannot confirm preliminary positive test results)
• Receive your test result 30 minutes after taking the test
