Almost all of our houses are completely substance free and in the few houses that are not substance free, individuals may only consume alcohol if they are 21 years old and in their own room. All of our houses have a trained graduate level live-in staff member who is able to have conversations with students about alcohol use and University policies. All fraternities and sororities have a national risk management policy that governs the use of alcohol. Common sources of alcohol such as kegs are prohibited. No chapter funds are able to be used to purchase alcohol and all events where alcohol is served has to be either BYOB or at a third party vendor. Each chapter has a Risk Management officer who is trained on risk management policies. The Greek community also partners with the Student Wellness Connection to provide educational and fun programming for Greek students throughout the year. |
