Assessment

Assessment is an valuable part of the education process.  As an office we believe it is important to evaluate what we are doing and how we are doing it.  In order to know if we are meeting our learning outcomes we must continually assess our programs, leadership endeavors, courses, etc.  The feedback we receive is reviewed and shared with the appropriate constituents and then utilized for future planning.

Surveys

Greek Residential Living Survey

The Office of Residence Life/Greek Affairs conducts an annual survey of students residing in on-campus, Greek housing. This survey is to provide the office with vital information about students' overall residential experience and inform us of areas in which there is potential for improvement.

This year, the office decided to conduct the survey near the middle of the academic year, in contrast to previously being conducted near the end, in hopes of using students' responses to begin improvements sooner and enhance every student's residential experience.

Greek Climate Survey

The purpose of the survey was to gauge the Greek community on its self-reported views of the climate surrounding LGBT issues within the Greek community. Greek Affairs would like a better understanding of how our students believe, stand, and view issues concerning homophobia, LGBT members of chapters, and interest in programming. These results will be used to further develop specific programming and initiatives on LGBT issues in the Greek community.
