The BGSU Greek Independent Board is comprised of six organizations:
Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc.
Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority Inc.
Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity
Delta Xi Phi Multicultural Sorority
Omega Phi Alpha Sorority
Delta Lambda Phi National Social Fraternity
The GIB meets Tuesdays at 9:15 p.m. in 314 BTSU.
GIB groups conduct recruitment during each semester.
The Greek Independent Board serves a unique purpose on campus by governing those Greek organizations that are not affiliated
with the existing Greek councils at Bowling Green State University. The Board has had a presence on campus for six years and
our goal is to increase multiculturalism, friendship, unity, and representation for each organization in academics, social
interaction, and chapter development.
The executive board, as well as the council members, are also very committed to trying to create educational programs and
experiences for our members. We are also very enthusiastic about collaborating with other councils so that we can make a difference
on campus together. The Greek Independent Board is excited about our continual growth and we will continue our strides to
make an impact on campus in the present and in the future.
