- 56% of Greek members are involved in at least one other student organization.
- The Greek community has one historically Latino fraternity and one historically Latina sorority.
- Seven of the nine historically African-American fraternities and sororities are at BGSU.

- Fraternities and sororities provide members with great networking opportunities with alumni and opportunities to get involved
on campus.
- Greek Affairs spends nearly $10,667 to promote scholarship in the Greek community.
- The Greek Community hosts three honor societies for Greeks: Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha and Rho Lambda.
- Some fraternities/sororities offer payment plans to help pay dues; incentives to reduce dues; scholarships to pay for dues.
- Fraternities and sororities have national charities that members raise money for and volunteer with. Over 49,108 hours of
hands-on service was performed by Greek members last year.
- Over $54,891 was raised for charity last year by the Greek community.
- Greeks Advocating Mature Management of Alcohol is a new group of students educating the community on alcohol responsibility.
