Getting Started

The BGSU LEAD Certificate will be awarded to undergraduate students who successfully fulfill the criteria for each of the nine competencies identified by the Leadership Advisory Board. Throughout the learning process, you will be developing important skills and strategies that will be essential when you are faced with the opportunity to lead. The BGSU LEAD Certificate is not the same as a university certificate. Unlike a certificate issued by an academic department, the BGSU LEAD Certificate does not require the completion of course credits. You may choose to draw from your classroom learning in fulfilling the requirements of the BGSU LEAD program; however, no particular courses are required in order for you to successfully meet the certification criteria.
