How and where will I learn?
You can achieve the BGSU LEAD Learning Outcomes through a variety of avenues, both on and off Bowling Green State University’s
campus. These learning experiences may take the form of an academic course, professional workshop, service learning trip,
co-curricular involvement, and personal reading and reflection, just to name a few. The options are endless and only limited
by your time and creativity. You will find many specific suggestions for learning under BGSU LEAD Learning Outcomes as well as in the Student Handbook. You are responsible for selecting learning experiences that fit your time and personal interests. These experiences should
be challenging, engaging, and ultimately help you to learn more about yourself and others.
As you progress on your leadership journey, you will find that you are not alone. As a student in the BGSU LEAD Program,
you will belong to the LEAD Blackboard Community. This electronic venue will allow you to share your leadership experiences
with your peers and learn from one another as you progress through the program. Various resources available through the LEAD
Blackboard Community, including a calendar with important BGSU LEAD dates and an open discussion forum, will help you to expand
your personal repertoire of learning experiences. The community forum will also help you to network with your peers and potentially
collaborate in your leadership endeavors.
Additionally, you can follow the links below to find learning opportunities available through the various offices across
