Bowling Green State University is very pleased to offer students an exciting opportunity to gain insight into leadership development through an intensive, weeklong residential program known as The LeaderShape Institute. This is the fifth year for The LeaderShape Institute at Bowling Green. It will be conducted during the week of May 7 - 12, 2007 at Punderson Manor Resort and Conference Center. Housing, meals, and transportation will be provided.

The LeaderShape committee is looking for 50 energetic and dedicated students to be a part of the leadership program. Whether you have extensive leadership experience, or you are just beginning your quest for leadership, this program may be for you. You will spend a week living and working with other students and faculty exploring leadership development theory, self-reflection, team building, and learning how these areas contribute to developing your leadership skills. These skills will continue to be developed once you return to Bowling Green as you work on your LeaderShape project and have a chance to be a part of the 2008 Steering committee.

Due to the limited number of spaces available, we are conducting a selection process. The target participant audience is rising sophomores and juniors and the minimum GPA requirement is a 2.5. The selection committee will also look at your involvement and leadership experiences at Bowling Green State University. Please be as specific and inclusive as possible.

Your application must be submitted on-line by Monday, February 19, 2007.  Upon selection to the program, each participant will be asked to submit a $75, non-refundable deposit. Further communication with you will be through e-mail.
