About Us:

BGSUrve is a program that introduces STUDENTS at Bowling Green State University to SERVICE and LEADERSHIP opportunities, resulting in a COMMITMENT to service, a sense of CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY, and the IMPROVEMENT OF THE LIVES of traditionally UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS. 

Community Service Projects

BGSUrve participates in a variety of community service projects. To date, we have done projects such as visiting nursing homes, volunteering at a flu shot clinic, helping with an elementary school ice cream social, volunteering at the Wood County Humane Society, and cleaning up a park.

New events will be posted for spring semester as soon as they are available.

BGSUrve always needs volunteers for the community service projects, and is also open to new ideas for service opportunities.

Special Events:

This semester, BGSUrve has led Make a Difference Day, where we visited several nursing homes, and Adopt a Family in which we teamed up with other organizations to buy food and gifts for needy families in Wood County for the Holiday Season.
