COMMON READING EXPERIENCE
| Fall 2011 Common Reading Selection  Colin Beavan | What a better way to connect students than through a common book? Every year, the incoming class reads a book selection and discusses it as a community in small group sessions. Discussions are facilitated by an upper class student. This year’s book selection No Impact Man by Colin Beavan. The Common Reading book is typically available for purchase at the BGSU bookstore A common reading experience is often seen as a great way for new students to embark upon the intellectual challenges of the college experience. In addition to discussing the book in the classroom, BGSU also hosts special events related to the content of the book throughout the fall semester. |
