Tutoring Resources
The Office of Disability Services does not offer any tutoring services; however, there is tutoring available across campus.
Below is a list of options for tutoring:
- Study Skills Center [Free] 372.8840
Group study sessions already established for many large classes. Any three students from a class that does not already have
a study group established can create one with the help of study skills staff.
- Writing Center [Free] 372.222
Assistance with writing papers in all subjects and help in improving writing skills.
- Math & Stats Tutoring Center [Free] 372.8347
- TRiO Collegiate Services [Free] 372.267
Attempts to arrange tutors in all subjects. Contact TRiO to establish eligibility for tutorial services. Services are available educationally,
culturally, or economically disadvantaged students.
- Contact each department for a list of tutors in that subject. Most departments maintain a list of graduate or undergraduates
that will tutor for a fee.
- In "MY BGSU" there is a "MY Community" section advertising for tutors wanted and tutors available for hire.
- Look in The BG News for ads of people who tutor in certain subjects.
