7:00pm- 10:00pm: Mandatory meeting for Selected Team - 207 Bowen-Thompson Student Union

Requirements are as follows:

All-Girl Team: 16-20 Members
RUNNING TUMBLING:
• Roundoff Handspring Layout/Tuck
• Roundoff Handspring Full (highly preferred)

STANDING TUMBLING:
• Standing Tuck (minimum skill)
• Hand Hand Tuck

STUNTING:
• Straight Up Stretch, Full Down
• Full Up Platform
• Optional Elite Sequence

FIGHT SONG
• Includes Standing Tuck
• Motions
• Energy, Smile
• Collegiate Look

Co-Ed Females: 16-18 members (2 AG quads & 8-10 Co-ed top females) RUNNING TUMBLING:
• Roundoff Handspring Layout
• Roundoff Handspring Full (highly preferred; required for nationals team)

STANDING TUMBLING:
• Standing Tuck (minimum skill)
• Hand Hand Tuck
• Hand Hand Full (highly preferred; required for nationals team)

STUNTING:
• Toss Platform, Stretch Full Down
• Full up Platform
• Optional Elite Flipping Stunt

Co-Ed Males: 8-10 males
STANDING TUMBLING

RUNNING TUMBLING:

STUNTING:
Hands-Extended Stunt
Toss Extension
Toss Liberty
Flipping Stunt (preferred)
Full-Up Stunts (preferred)

*Train co-ed males with strong athletic backgrounds

Tryout Attire:
Female Attire: Black sports bra, white soffe shorts, white bow, white cheer shoes. Hair half-up and curled. Natural make-up.
Male Attire: Black shorts, pro-BG orange top, athletic shoes. Clean shave.

The main purpose of the tryout process is to select the best overall individuals for Bowling Green State University's cheerleading teams.

When selecting our squads we are looking for individuals that demonstrate proper technical skills, ability to communicate, experience, confidence, and poise. These are the individuals we feel are ready and prepared to contribute to the program immediately.
