Testing Information

BGSU's Testing Center provides test administration, test information, and test scoring services. Over the past year, the Testing Center administered well over 4,000 exams.

* When taking the following tests:  ACT-R, CLEP, MAT, or Independent Study, currently enrolled BGSU students should contact the Testing Center for the Testing Fee applicable to them  *

SOME GENERAL TESTING SUGGESTIONS

  • Photo ID is always a requirement. No exceptions!

  • Preregistration is strongly recommended

  • The last day to register is typically one month prior to the test.

  • Consult the appropriate bulletin for the last registration date.

  • Registration materials are sent directly to the testing agency as listed in the bulletin.

  • Study guides for most tests are available at the BGSU Bookstore and at most local bookstores.

  • Bring 2-3 sharpened #2 pencils (mechanical pencils are not allowed) and a good eraser with you.

  • Have a good idea where to find the building and room before the day of the test.

  • Get plenty of sleep the night before.

  • Arrive early enough to find a parking space and still arrive on time.

  • Plan to arrive by the reporting time listed on your admission ticket.

  • Use the rest room and sharpen your pencils before you check into the testing room.

  • Be aware that no food or drink may be brought into the testing room.
