Champions Programs  
The Breakfast of Champions Program during fall semester and the Evening of Champions Program during spring semester, recognizes students of color who have achieved academic excellence from the previous semester.

Annual Kwanzaa Celebration
This event features a presentation of the seven principles of Kwanzaa, African dancing and door prizes!

Black Issues Conference
The Black Issues Conference provides a forum for discussion, dialogue, and research into the condition of the African American/Black community in the U.S. Students plan the conference, with assistance of professional staff from the Center for Multicultural and Academic Initiatives.

Latino Issues Conference
The Latino Issues Conference offers a variety of speakers and workshop sessions that focus on Latino issues that are debated nationally. For more information, visit the Latino Issues Conference site .


 

   

Other Multicultural Events
Social and cultural programs are designed with the purpose of educating the campus at large about ethnic diversity issues, LGBTA-Q issues, and religious diversity. The office sponsors lectures conferences, and a variety of cultural celebrations that address cultural diversity in a global society.
