Nicky Damania
Graduate Student
Nicky P. Damania is a first year master's student in the Career and Technology Education at Bowling Green State University.
He currently works in the Center of Multicultural and Academic Initiatives for the LGBTA-Q programs and services and opened
and currently runs BGSU's LGBTA-Q Resource Center. He hails from Colorado where he doubled majored in biology (emphasis in
pre-med and electron microscopy) and drama (emphasis in technical theatre and directing) at Colorado College. Other than long
hikes in the mountains, he enjoys college life and everything that life has to offer him.

Samantha Chada, Sam, is junior social work and psychology double major. This Gemini from Brooklyn, Ohio enjoys turkey sandwiches,
ice cream, and Harry Potter. She is a founding member of Delta Xi Phi Multi-Cultural Sorority, Inc. and is also a member of
GIB, and ITS. When not at the Resource Center, you could problem find Sam at the non-official, DXP house, work, and anywhere
in the New England area.

Publicity and Blackboard Designer
Aja Stewart, also known as Aja Mae, is a junior VCT/Pop Culture Major. This Libra from Norwalk, Ohio enjoys music, laughing,
people, and playing her guitar for free in a laundry mat for quarters. Her favorite color is orange, favorite book is the
Bell Jar and her favorite movies are Most Things Home-Cooked and The Breakfast Club. When Aja is not interning this year,
she would rather be at Grounds for Thought.

Amanda Monyak, a sophomore Psychology and Cognate Major is from Brook Park, Ohio. This Virgo/Libra cusp enjoys Cerulean, Chicken
Tarragon, and lots of different books and movies. When Amanda is not involved in making the newsletter in the resource center,
she is at NARAL Pro-Choice BGSU, Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society, Psychology Club, or Vision.

Joe Aufenthie, the Diva, is a sophomore, Women’s studies major from Paulding, Ohio. This Taurus loves free chocolate from
Nicky’s office, Spice World, The Notebook, pink and purple, and the book by Geri Halliwell, If Only. If Joe is not at Uptown
on Tuesday or Bretz on Friday, then he is at OWI, HCD hall counsel, vision, RSA.

Laura LeFebvre, Laura Kwik, is a senior double Telecommunications and Psychology major from Toledo. As a Gemini, she likes
things in twos: singing and dancing, Garden State and Love Actually, gray and yellow, and Girl In the Box and A Widow for
One Year. If she is not in class or at the Resource Center, you can find her far from BG out in the woods at night. You can
also find her at the Founder's Dining Center, where she works, IPCO, Friends of Wood County Humane Society, Dance Marathon,
and Cru.

Athena Lane, Boochie, is a sophomore with many majors. This cancer is a pretty peaceful calm young lady. She loves locs and
cheese and cheesy men with locs. She, also, "love Love LOVE my afro and you should too." If she's not in the Resource Center,
she is probably with friends watching one of her favorite movies: Malcolm X, The Color Purple Meet Joe Black, Bamboozled,
Unfaithful, Uncle Buck, Love Jones, and Waiting To Exhale.

Whitney Walton, Schmoonie, a junior film and Africana studies double major, is from Columbus, Ohio. This Scorpio loves the
Vegan club and Vegan wings, Spike Lee films and the color violet. She's a realist, a vegetarian (soon to be vegan, maybe),
lover of all people (tall, masculine, well-spoken ones in particular), reader of books, deep thinker, and last, but certainly
not least, an observer & changer of the world. She's involved with the Black Student Union, The Creative Minds Movement, The
Obsidian, and a Rep. for her floor in Conklin. If she's not in the Resource Center, she could be anywhere because she loves
to travel.

Michelle Richards, or Shell, a Nursing Major, Biology minor from Canton, Ohio is a volunteer this year at the Resource Center.
This Pisces love shopping and spending time with her boyfriend. If Michelle is not busy going to classes, then you may find
her at America Reads, BGSU American Red Cross Club, and the Pre-nursing Organization.

Carrie Hyman, Boo, a super senior IPC major, will be your webmistress for the Fall 2005 semester. This Sagittarius from Mount
Vernon, Ohio loves yellow, The Princess Bride and the Red Tent. She loves music, and, therefore, is involved in Tau Beta Sigma,
a national honorary band service organization. She loves ducks, pasta and having fun. Her favorite place to be, besides the
