Nicky Damania

Graduate Assistant for
LGBTA-Q Programs and Services

Nicky P. Damania is a first year master's student in the Career and Technology Education at Bowling Green State University. He currently works in the Center of Multicultural and Academic Initiatives for the LGBTA-Q programs and services. He opened and currently runs BGSU's LGBTA-Q Resource Center. He hails from Aurora, Colorado and went to Colorado College in Colorado Springs where he doubled majored in biology (emphasis in pre-med and electron microscopy) and drama (emphasis in technical theatre and directing). Other than long hikes in the mountains, he enjoys college life and everything that life has to offer him. He is also the house mommy for seven lovely ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. He is also the treasurer for Graduate Student Senate and sits on many budgeting committees including Spot and Annual funding and University budgeting.

Aja Stewart, also known as Aja Mae, is a junior VCT Major and a minor in Pop Culture . This Libra from Norwalk, Ohio enjoys music, laughing, people, and playing her guitar for free in a laundry mat for quarters. Her favorite color is orange, favorite book is the Bell Jar and her favorite movies are Most Things Home-Cooked and The Breakfast Club. When Aja is not in the Resource Center, she will be working at the Waffle House.

Laura LeFebvre, Laura Kwik, is a senior double Telecommunications and Psychology major from Toledo. As a Gemini, she likes things in twos: singing and dancing, Garden State and Love Actually, gray and yellow, and Girl In the Box and A Widow for One Year. If she is not in class or at the Resource Center, you can find her far from BG out in the woods at night. You can also find her at the Founder's Dining Center, where she works, IPCO, Friends of Wood County Humane Society, Dance Marathon, and Cru.

Allison Lee

Allison (aka Alli) is a senior majoring in social work. She hails from Avon Lake, OH. While eating cereal and watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), she dreams of being in Europe or on any beach where it is warm and sunny. She is also a Resident Advisory in HAB and sits on the HAB Hall Council. It is her last semester at BGSU then off to graduate school back home in Cleveland where she will have many spontaneous road trips.

Eric, junior, is a Integrated Language Arts major from Wakeman, OH. He is involved in Alpha Sigma Phi Social Fraternity, BGeXperience, Orientation Leader, College Democrats, and Gay Greek and Allies Group. As an Aquarius, he prides himself on visiting seven different European countries within three weeks.

Martin, also known as Marty, Martini, Homo, is a freshman studying Psychology & Asian Studies with a Minor in Sociology. He is also involved with Alpha Phi Omega, Japanese Club, Vision, and is a Sun Dial Employee. As he sits under a tree on a nice spring day, he reads Sophie’s Worlds, Oath bound Series, The Little Prince, or Never-ending Story while eating anything foreign except Nicky’s curry.

Michelle Richards

Michelle Richards, or Shell, a Nursing Major, Biology minor from Canton, Ohio is a volunteer this year at the Resource Center. This Pisces love shopping and spending time with her boyfriend. If Michelle is not busy going to classes, then you may find her at America Reads, BGSU American Red Cross Club, and the Pre-nursing Organization.

Jacob Moore

Jacob otherwise known as a few other names like Jake, Jacobo, Yackapo, The Dungeon Master, Ducky, is a first year student at BGSU. Majoring in Creative Writing and Chinese, he has an insatiable sweet tooth. When taking the personality tests, he always comes back as a very spiritual person, or the ballroom dancer type. This enigma individual is also the Events Chair for Vision.

As everyone knows this woman as Libby, she will be graduating this spring in International Studies and Spanish. Libby was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, but graduated from Perrysburg High School. While eating anything Japanese, she is normally watching American Beauty or dreaming of Barcelona. She is also involved with International Careers Network (president), Spanish Club, Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Eta Sigma, and International Relations Organization. She is a crazy Democrat, working to advance the insidious liberal agenda. She is young and in love with her pet ferret named Sid Vicious.

Dan, junior from Bryan, OH, is majoring in music education. He is also a proud RA of the Batchelder hall. He is open to pretty much everyone and everything, but tends to be attracted to things with at least a little bit of intellectual or philosophical value in it. He has a big love for music and is a veeerrrrrrryyyy well rounded individual and has something major in common with almost everyone he meets. Along with being the president of Vision last year, Dan is also involved with the Human Rights Campaign, the American Civil Liberties Union, Gender PAC, and others organizations.

Whitney Walton, Schmoonie, a junior film and Africana studies double major, is from Columbus, Ohio. This Scorpio loves the Vegan club and Vegan wings, Spike Lee films and the color violet. She's a realist, a vegetarian (soon to be vegan, maybe), lover of all people (tall, masculine, well-spoken ones in particular), reader of books, deep thinker, and last, but certainly not least, an observer & changer of the world.
