You will have an opportunity to talk in a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment – your own room, with your own personal
computer – while receiving the support and help you may need from other individuals experiencing similar situations, and led
by a knowledgeable facilitator.
To join the group:

Anyone can use this service no matter what the situation.

Open an alias AIM account. Please use an alias account to ensure your confidentiality. If you are unsure on how to do this, click here .

Add OutatBGSU to your buddy list.

During the appropriate times when OutatBGSU is on-line, instant message OutatBGSU, asking OutatBGSUabout the group.

OutatBGSU will ask you a series of five quick questions. These questions are too ensure that you will use the service properly and with
respect.

OutatBGSU will then invite you to join the discussion if discussions are taking place.

Once in the chat room, you may ask and converse with each other for the duration of the time.

The facilitator will not answer questions directly, but will help and guide you in your process.

At NO TIME is anyone allowed to privately instant message another individual within the discussion room. This support service
is to help individuals in their coming-out process, not a dating service.
