Annually, more than 2,000 students from all academic disciplines and degree levels receive individual assistance from our
career counselors and consultants. In private one-hour sessions, we can help you clarify your career goals; assess your work
values; occupational interests and skills; write resumes and cover letters; bolster your confidence and skills in interviewing
through mock interviews; develop an action plan to look for jobs in a targeted field or geographical area; and/or evaluate
employment offers. Optimally, you should schedule your first session at least six to eight months before graduation. Finding
an exceptional job takes time, and you will find many more options from which to choose if you start your search early in
the academic year. Don’t delay, we are here to guide you through each step in the process. Call the Career Center at 419.372.2356 or visit us at Conklin Hall (Room 322) to set up an appointment with a Career Consultant.
