FALL EXPO 2008 JOB & INTERNSHIP FAIR
|
Thursday, October 2, 2008 Friday, October 3, 2008 PERRY FIELD HOUSE
The BGSU Career Center team strives to simplify and streamline recruiting by offering a wide-range of college relations programs
and recruitment services. For more than two decades, employers have successfully recruited outstanding BGSU students and
recent graduates at our Fall EXPO Job & Internship Fair. In fact, 90% of the employers attending last year's event affirmed
the value of EXPO as an effective strategy for achieving their recruiting goals.
We invite you to kick off your recruiting year at BGSU by participating in the Fall EXPO 2008 Job & Internship Fair. This
two-day event is designed to provide employers an unparalleled opportunity to network with 1,200 top-notch candidates at all
degree levels who are seeking internships, co-ops, and post-graduate employment opportunities. Beat the competition to hire
our best and brightest by interviewing at the Fall EXPO 2008 Interview Day (optional) on October 3rd.
WHY ATTEND?
- Save time! Fall EXPO is well-orchestrated; we attend to the smallest details so your representatives can give their full attention
to identifying candidates for your current or future openings.
- Reduce your recruitment costs! Take full advantage of your time on campus to speak with talented BGSU students and alumni from all academic programs.
- Tell your recruitment story to highly motivated students who are eager to investigate career and internship options, share their career aspirations and
goals, and interview with your organization.
- Gain access to quality career and internship candidates! Pre-select students to interview for your internships, co-ops, and professional, post-graduate positions at the EXPO Interview
Day on October 3.
- Build brand recognition, establish relationships with student leaders, faculty, advisors and other college administrators, and gain word-of-mouth referrals for your organization.
- View resumes and generate interest! Registered organizations will be given access to resumes of students and alumni on WorkNet, our on-line recruitment system.
- Stimulate interest in your organization and extend invitations to visit your table at the fair by contacting student leaders and faculty members in advance.

EXPO Interview Day Interview schedules for professional, co-op, and internship positions are structured to accommodate twelve, half-hour interviews
and two, fifteen-minute breaks. Interview sign-ups will be generated by the recruiters at the fair as they speak with students
and invite them to schedule interviews. If you are unable to attend the Fall 2008 EXPO Interview Day and you would like to
schedule an alternate date to conduct on-campus interviews, click here.
ADVERTISE TO BUILD BRAND RECOGNITION ON CAMPUS Each year, the Career Center publishes and distributes 4,000 copies of the EXPO Job Fair Guide. This comprehensive resource is circulated campus-wide to inform students and alumni of organizations that will be attending
Fall EXPO. The Guide contains brief employer profiles and position descriptions. Students eagerly await the release of the Guide to target employers attending EXPO that hire students with their career interests to identify employers scheduled to interview
on October 3, and to check out the qualifications and requirements necessary to obtain interviews.
Advertising in the EXPO Job Fair Guide enhances your organization's visibility on campus, stimulates student interests in your current or anticipated employment
opportunities, helps generate traffic to your booth at the fair, and motivates students to sign-up for interviews with your
organization.
Advertising rates are a terrific value, given the broad exposure your organization will receive. Price-saving package deals
are available. The firm deadline to submit your advertisement request for the Fall EXPO Job Fair Guide is September 10, 2008. To learn more about our advertising options and package deals, click here.
