Signing On to the BGSU Student Employment Services Listproc

The listproc is the primary way that supervisors and other registered BGSU staff receive information about policy updates, payroll deadlines, procedure changes, and invitations to supervisor workshops. The listserv is read only, and is used only to communicate items of interest regarding student employment and student employees.

To subscribe to the list, type the following on your outgoing email screen:

To:  listproc@listproc.bgsu.edu
From: your email address
Subject: leave blank

In the body of the message, type:
sub empliaisons (your) First name (your) Last name

Then send your message.

For example, if Freddy Falcon wanted to sign on to the list, he would type:
sub empliaisons Freddy Falcon

Once you have successfully subscribed to empliaisons (the name of the Student Employment Services listproc), you will receive a reply from the ListProccessor acknowledging your subscription and assigning you your password. You will not need the password to receive messages. All you need to do is check your email!
