The Career Center is committed to providing efficient and responsive services, preparing our students for interviews, monitoring
interview schedules for compliance with employer requirements, helping recruiters develop relationships with faculty and student
leaders, and assisting employers with diversity recruitment efforts. Using a team approach, we work with employers to schedule,
publicize, and coordinate on-campus interviews. This includes notifying students, faculty, and relevant student groups of
upcoming interview schedules. On-campus interviews are available for all our recruiting options: part-time, seasonal, cooperative education, internships and post graduate (full-time).
Recruiting season is held in the fall and spring semester, to better assist you in choosing an appropriate recruiting date,
please view the BGSU academic calendar. Please pay attention to breaks, holidays and exam week. After reviewing the information below, access our on-line campus recruiting request form to schedule your visit. We would love to have you!
Interview Sign-Up Options
Regular on-campus interviews are conducted at the Career Center located in Room 322 Saddlemire @ Conklin North. A traditional
Interview setup typically begin at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:45 p.m. This schedule provides for thirteen thirty-minute
interviews, two fifteen-minute breaks, and a one hour and fifteen minute lunch period. However, you can create your own interview
schedule setup within your request. Plan to arrive at the Career Center 20 minutes before your first interview to check in
and obtain your interview packet. Please note that Bowling Green, Ohio is in the Eastern time zone.
We offer Pre-Select, Open, Combination, Prior Resume Review, and Employer initiated (Room Only) scheduling options:
Pre-Select Schedules: Recruiters who prefer to pre-select candidates for interviews may request this option. Only students who meet your minimum
qualifications will be permitted to sign up for an interview, after being accepted by the recruiter. Pre-Select Schedules
must be arranged within a 4 to 6 week period prior to the on-campus interview date.
Open Schedules: Open schedules are available to all candidates who meet your minimum qualifications. You will receive your interview schedule
2 days prior to your on-campus interview date.
Combination Schedules (Pre-Select to Open): Combination schedules start out as Pre-Select, allowing "accepted" candidates to sign-up first for an interview time slot.
The schedule turns to open 4 days prior to your on-campus interview date.
Prior Resume Review: This is a new option within our center, allowing the recruiter to receive a bundle of resumes to review prior to their on-campus
visit. Recruiters actually are inviting qualified candidates to sign-up for an interview with their company.
Employer initiated (Room Only): For room-only schedules, an employer arranges the interview schedules directly with the students and uses the Career Center
facilities to conduct the interviews. Please note that these schedules will not be promoted on the NACElink WorkNet system.
