A professional internship opportunity for credit, arranged by the Washington Center in Washington, D.C., for students of many majors to work in public or private sectors. The program includes: internship search assistance, apartment style housing; professional and social networking; a class in your field; dialogue with national leaders in through the Presidential Lecture and Congressional Breakfast series; a community service project; and the completion of a portfolio.

Who is eligible for a Washington Center Internship?

• Full-time Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors
• Students in majors which offer academic credit for internships
• Students with a minimum 2.75 accumulative GPA (Please note: Many federal internship sites require 3.0 and above)
• Students who are in good standing with the University
• Graduates can participate in a Post-Graduate internship Program within 18 months after graduation
